Project Mission: Black Staff Caucus is the first group of its kind to focus specifically on Black staff at the Harvard Longwood Campus (HLC). We have provided a new model of engagement for Black HLC staff and seek to expand our impact. Through programming and institutional collaboration, we aim to 1) improve the retention and promotion of Black Staff, 2) create an actionable, safe space to discuss and positively resolve our shared challenges as a marginalized community, and 3) provide the opportunity for members to make meaningful connections with others of the African diaspora.
