Building Harvard’s Internal Change Management Capabilities
Project Mission:
As Harvard’s projects grow in complexity and cross-school impact, the need for a standardized, behavior-centered approach to change management has become increasingly critical, especially in our time of constrained budgets and available staff resources. While leaders recognize change management as essential to project success, our approach to change management is highly variable, informal, siloed, and in some cases, absent. This project will establish a standardized methodology based on industry-standard ADKAR principles, reduce duplicative and parallel work across schools, improve project success outcomes and ROI, and decrease reliance on external consultants for change management expertise.
