Expanding the Inclusive Teaching Institute Faculty Fellowship Model

Project Mission:

Through our Inclusive Teaching Institute (ITI), we aim to cultivate and sustain a learning community for faculty and teaching staff across Harvard University to connect about inclusive teaching practices, pedagogies, theories, and research. With the PAIF grant, we hope to further ITI’s impact by sharing the expertise of instructors from different schools with the University in order to support inclusive in-person, online, and hybrid learning experiences.

Our objectives to fulfill our mission include:

  1. A faculty fellowship community of practice for a cohort of Inclusive Practice Fellows of faculty from different Harvard graduate schools and the College to share inclusive teaching practices
  2. An online inclusive teaching tool kit of our 2 adaptable inclusive teaching faculty fellowship models including an instructor-led professional learning model and an instructor peer learning group model
  3. Workshops adapting and modeling our faculty fellowship models offered to faculty and teaching staff from different Harvard graduate schools and the College co-designed with administrative instructional support staff from these schools
