Project Mission:
Where can I find a listing of all upcoming events at Harvard? It’s a question many in the community ask, but a centralized view of all University events does not exist. This discovery project will explore the feasibility of establishing a new university-wide calendar system that will simplify scheduling events, reduce scheduling conflicts, consolidate software applications, reduce cost, and improve collaboration and communication. Working with dozens of partners across campus, we seek to understand the current state of calendaring at Harvard to ultimately recommend a solution for the immense, decentralized landscape of events for students, staff, faculty, alumni, and the public.
